Well you can't add "bots", but you can spawn characters that will act like they do in single player. Like if you spawn Luke he will follow you around and attack enemies, if you spawn Dessan, he will attack you, and so on. To spawn things, bring up the console, type "HelpUsObi 1", then type "npc spawn x", where x is the name of the npc like Luke, or Lando. Hope this was some help.
You cannot add bots in the single player game you can only spawn single player NPCs. This is almost the same thing unless you want to add a bot you downloaded (like Vader).
