The command to chnage the side you're on is "playerteam player", "playerteam enemy" or "playerteam neutral".

In Radiant, you can set NPC teaming with "team", in the creture's options ([n]-key).

You can spawn named NPCs with the commmand:
NPC SPAWN x y (x being the creature type and y being the name)

f.e.:
NPC SPAWN reborn Gidion (or whatever)

You could try:

1)
NPC SPAWN reborn Gidion player
(NPC SPAWN type name team)

2)
team Gidion player

3)
NPC team Gidion player

4)
NPC Gidion team player

5)
NPC Gidion team player

(I haven't thought much about this yet. I will try it out later and tell you I find out something.)

Take this, Jedi! Oh, no. What am I saying!
