Post A funny JKII FFA Story

I logged into a FFA server with a max of 4 players. There were 2 other players on... so I became the third player.

When I spawned in, I saw one, so I quickly rolled into him, pulled him down, and backstabbed him. I wandered around a bit, and found the other two players fighting... so I used Mind Trick, walked up to them... pulled them both down... backsweep.

They got a bit mad at this point... and told me to stop being so cheap. (Language used was a bit more juvenile though....) I simply ignored them... opting to respond with some action. After a few more kills, they got REALLY mad at me, and started to come after me. So I had to go on defense for a bit.

Anyways, they both came running at me, sabers flailing. I calmly stood my ground.... waited till they were close... pull, backsweep. Both dead.

Then they started to mimic my tactics... either by sheer luck or by design, one of them was in front of me, while the other was behind. They managed to pull me down, and they both went for a backsweep simultaneously... but I hit FORCE PROTECT, and rolled out of the way... and they ended up SWEEPING EACH OTHER! Both dead again.

They tried this tactic one more time... and again, I got out of the way. This time, one guy sweeped the other and killed him, and I simply pulled down the remaining guy and backstabbed him

Then one guy tried to kick me off the server by vote... but I kept voting no to make the vote fail. I then initiated a vote to kick one of them... and someone seconded the vote and one was kicked. The server then switched maps, and I decided I had enough.

Just goes to show you... PULL/Backsweep can be avoided... just takes some skill and some luck

Bah!

Pull backsweep...
not the coolest way to win.

coolest way to win is by kicking...
I am much more impressed by kick whores
(like moi)
than I am by backstab whores.

Kicking forever!

I "played" some CTF games today with about 14 -16 others. There was so much pulling and backstabbing it looked like a narcoleptic hoedown.

Grab your partner,
throw them down.
Turn you back,
and spin around...

It was really fun to watch. I did indulge a little myself, just to try to fit in. I'm a victim of backstabbers peer presure.

Good to know the maturity is here tonight *Cough*....Anyways, from the sounds of things it was an FFA. All he did was take advantage of a situation. When you're in an FFA you MUST expect to be blindsided. Kudos to you Blair, you pulled some major Darth Maul action with the 2v1. Except Maul died...But that's beyond the point. When you die in an FFA, that's life, and expected...If that ruins the game for you, you can either adjust or not play.

Brandon:

He spammed a broken move against people obviously not close to his skill level and comes here to brag about it.

How much fun do think that is?

If you're over 8 years old, I mean...

Yes, VERY mature...

Sounds to me like you lack any skill whatsoever. So you've figured out the old pull backsweep move that every other boring spammer does. How utterly boring. Don't you think actually using some skill might make a pleasant change for you?

LOL!!!

Instead of crying about it....

why not figure out ways to GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!!

a week ago... I didnt even know how to backsweep and got my ass kicked with the move about 99 percent of the time...

Today, I can do the move fairly well, and can also get out of the way of it...

Why spend time crying about it when you can spend time learning it, and learning to counter it?

Did you even read the post

It was posted in a mature, and even insightful manner, and you responded in an immature, rude manner. Do me a favor and post your server name so I never make the mistake of going there...

i love when people talk about maturity, but then go around looking for easy kills so they could gloat and post these kinds of threads.

Accidental Counter

I hit force jump (straight up.... maybe a little back?) and attack just as I was on the way down and what do you know... I landed a heavy swing on the Rodian model that was going around backsweeping in Bespin Streets....

I tried to duplicate this several times... but don't have the timing right yet...

Force jump is definately getting me out of the way of the backsweep, though. I've even jumped then used saber throw with a few hits for my efforts.

I do the backsweep myself, but only occasionally... I definately don't run around backwards... sidestepping then backstab as the opponent passes seems much more sporting.

HOWEVER, I am always willing to oblige anyone who likes to run up on two people in a fight and attempt to get a quickie from my rear..... and since Homie don't play that, the backstab seems very appropriate.

My favorite CHEAP move: catching someone at the compactor or Deathstar Beam and force pushing them in and activating the console... especially the compactor... I LMAO even though this is possibly the cheapest move in any level.... But hey... If I get caught in that thing, I still laugh...

Cya!

Heh. I think this guy has the wrong player...

The two guys I fought against didnt use drain. They used lightning, but I just threw up absorb immiediately.

I didnt die a single time.
