I want full saber realism

is there any kind of user made patch that makes it so that every time you swing your saber at player , you get to make one or more of their body parts fall off?
like full model dismemberment with smoking limbs?

Hrm....... would be neat if the guy actually ran around and he had his arm sliced off, or he hopped on one leg or something. I don't think I'd like having the realism of having to hobble because my leg is missing, so I'd like the hopping to be as fast as the origional walking. Also to do that to the lightsaber hand would require a switch of hands on the light saber. That would make the game take up quite a bit more storagespace and ram. I think it would be neat to have the other arm sliceable though, and maybe a leg. Although I'd stop the changes there since it wouldn't be fun to be a torso laying there, unless you could be like Maw and hover. Plus on the kill hits the system could be just like it is now and the head could fall off or whatever. Neat idea.

for single player games you can type in console
g_saberrealisticcombat (any number higher than 0, the higher the number the higher % chance)

g_saberrealisticcombat 1 - say a likely chance of cutting someone's limb off

g_saberrealisticcombat 5 - Your idle saber will cut off limbs without you even swinging it

[Intense Sarcasm]
Me too! We could have the midgit attack people with his uni-cycle. The Bear can stand 10 feet tall and have a special backstab that kills before it's excecuted (Wonder how that would work?)

HMM.... I am NOT so sure about those...

Here are some variables you can play with...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

g_dismembermentbrobabilities 0 or 1 (ON or OFF)

If ON then propablity numbers for different parts
are used from npcs.cfg and if OFF then those
number are ignored (all 100% probability)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

g_dismemberment (3 and smaller i quess)

multiplier numbers for those propablity numbers (smaller
number = closer of those in npcs.cfg and 3 = all 100%
i quess but not sure.. SO IT SEEMS)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

g_saberautoblocking 0 or 1 (ON or OFF)

If ON then player automatically move his saber to
block incoming shots and if OFF then he doesn't move
it and only those shots which come directly from
front of you will be blocked...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

g_saberrealisticcombat 0 or 1 (ON or OFF)

If ON saber will cut always when it touches no matter
if you are slashing with it or if target is alive or... if it is
OFF then target must be alive and you must slash
with it in order to cut with it..

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

g_sabermovespeed (smaller = slower, higher = faster)

How fast you can run/walk when you are slashing
with you saber (1 = same speed as when you are
not attacking, 0 = can't move when attacking,
1.5 = 1.5x faster...)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

g_saberanimspeed (smaller = slower, higher = faster)

How fast you move your saber when you are attacking
and again 1 is default...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

g_saberautoaim 0 or 1 (ON or OFF)

Seems to affect to attack moves what you make when
you are not moving, When ON (default) your attacks are
normally horizontal and when you look up or down they
are vertical and when OFF they are randomly vertical,
horizontal, diagonal, ......
