What about a SPORK (or similar MOD) for JKII??

I loved SPORK for the original JK. I would like to see someone create something of that calibur for JKII. Also, is anyone taking levels from the original JK and changing them to JKII levels?

Good questions.....BUMP......

There are only two constants in this world.

2. You cry for a lightsabre damage nerf.

Now that we have the SDK we can make Spork-esque mods for the game.

No, we can't. The saber system itself is hard coded, you can't change it other than a few adjustments and flipping animations around, or if you are REALLY ambitious replacing some of the old ones with new ones you can make.

Eh all spork did was turn up the blocking and enable saber parry and added a few moves in Jk1, mainly to give people more variety than the cheap one hit secondary fire kill. The single/duel blade switch and kick was hot though

No, there was never parrying. All it let you do was block (more like take no damage) from swings when you were swining as well.

Spork also added a double bladed saber and a grappling hook.

There's several mods that include grapple features, like JediMod (as Rumor said) ForceMod II and Dueler's mod. I haven't played the SPORK mod for JK (although I have played just about every other mod for JK, go figure ) but it sounds like it had (has) a big following. With the sheer number of JO mods being released, I'm not sure if any one mod will match SPORK's fame. With JA soon to come out, there might not be a SPORK-esque mod for JO. 'Course, you never know...

Well, it's not exactly like we have a time limit to answer threads, Reclaimer. "Threads never die...they just fade away. (unless they're closed by an admin, then they're dead)"

SPORK was an old mod for JK that changed quite a bit of the old game. Emon, I don't exactly roam around the message boards thinking "let's see who I can humiliate." I am sure it was not mine or anyone else's intention to make you look bad.

Yea it was probally one of the best mods out, besides SBX which was great also. If you didnt play JK and MotS you have missed alot. Its just too bad nobody hardly plays MotS anymore, it was a good game for an expansion pack.
