Push/Crosshair and the heat of battle

I use the "noob" :-)

But when I use the force, specifically force push in the heat of battle, if I am close to my opponent, I either lost the crosshair or it does not exist. Regardless of the crosshair, I can't seem to do push, I have level 3 push power and nearly full force meter, but when my opponent is close it will not work.

When my opponent is not close I can push him into the wall and such.

Is this an issue, or am I just "noob".

This hasn't occured to me... Not saying that you are a n00b. For me, push works better the closer that you are. It is harder for me to successfully push someone when they are far away.
