In the full verson is there a skrismish mode like in C&C: Red alert and in multiplayer can my friend and I team up and go against a CPU controlled opponent over my lan connection?

I don't know how much it's like C&C's but there's such an option.

Yes it is very like C&C. You can choose how many opponents and what color selections like C&C. You can choose from playing the single player or they have multiplayer maps designed for skirmish. You can select the time of day and so on......
