What format is this game, is it like a Star Wars version of Command and Conquer? Is it worth buying?

It's worth buying alright. I've never played from Command and Conquer but from what I've heard, it is that stile of game. In order to make more guys and buildings you have to get command points from doing objectives, killing guys and capturing bunkers. It's definatly worth buying, and if you don't use cheats, it will be a long time before you beat it. Definatly worth buying.

its alot like C&C, but you have 3-d rotation around your units, with zoom and pan..camera lock..don't get me started. its worth the money. come on...how many times will you get the change to command AT-ATs.

Everybody should get it, it's great! Its pretty tough in places; you wont beat it overnight thats for sure. Its pretty similar to C&C but you get to use ATAT's ... being a Star Wars fan that sold it for me!

Check the demo out first, that's your best bet. But I have to tell you it's a great game. It's so involved and it feels like your in the thick of battle, especially when you're taking a pounding. If you like strategy, don't pass it up. And if you like Star Wars there should be no hesitation in picking it up.

Personally, I don't like these types of games (resource management, like Warcraft), but if it's Star Wars, it's worth the try.
