Need help in the casino at the end of Year 4

Hey all, I'm trying to get into the elevator in Hector's casino. The big purple guys asks me a question, and I can scroll through the numbers to answer, but when I hit Enter, nothing happens. The game's not crashed, because I can still load a game or quit. Anyone heard of this before? Is this a bug? I have the patch installed.

Does the game freeze after you ask a question? If so I'd try a few more times to ask the question. Or if that doesn't work try to find someone who has a save game a little bit after that.

No, like I said, I can still load and quit and all that, I've tried this about three dozen times, and it happens every time.

I've been having this problem for a while, I even uninstalled the game, reinstalled it, and stared over from the beginning. No dice.

If anyone does have a saved game right after this point, I'd really appreciate it.

Sorry then I don't know what it could be. Maybe your CD is bad.

I would e-mail LucasArts about it and ask some people around here if they might have any saves.

This is a pretty strange problem. Never heard of it before. I could send a saved game if needed.

try using something other than a keyboard to select answers. if you have a joystick, configure that and then try to select answers with that untill you get past that part of the game....then you can go back to using the keyboard.

Holy *hit! Had that same problem for more than a year and a half! If someone could send me the save file from after the puzzle (or onward, basicaly I just want to see the ending I heard so much about!) that would be greatly apriciated.
