Map Idea : Cantina Advanced?

hey again

ok last night i was playing on the Cantina and someone said that the map is too small and if they have the map files they would enlarge it considerably..and then i got the idea

im not sure if there is a map size limit so excuse me if its to big...but

i was thinking it would be cool if there was a map just like the Cantina, but with 2 Cantina cities..one at one end...the other at the other end

inbetween the cities was a dirt road that goes through a canyon with caves and stuff like that

and if possible maybe a home out beyond all of it like Lukes Home

this would mostly be a role playing map but maybe it could be used for other stuff to

also...im not sure if this is possible but i don't see why its not...each city would have a "caravan bus" thing...everyone gets in and someone presses a button at the front and it goes on the dirt road and through the canyon and to the other city

this also would make a great map for the tusken raiders *coughSNIPERcough*

anyway like i said in my other post ive never tried to map and would try to but i would do a crappy job

so if someone is up for this map idea i think it would be a really cool map that alot of people would like

Actually The map is almost complete and will be released at the end of the month in a map-pack created by darthVader and myself. And no, I thought the framerates were going to be horrid--but we have 42 buildings--each one you can go into--and the framerate is still excellent.

Star Wars RPG fans are going to wet their pants when this one releases.

Go here for some early, early screens:

I know, I know, its a screwy-long link. If that don't work--youll have to find the post--by going here:

The idea sounds damn fine to me...but if it can be outlived would not be up to me, since I know nada about such things...though I guess that there would be that low fos....

actually, it could just work...
It is very hard to hit the map size limit.
If the map were really PROPERLY made, it could be done VERY effectively. I think I am going to write a technical document on making large maps.
However, you would need a LOT of players...but an admin could spawn NPCs.

I am altering the deal. Pray I don't alter it further.

Hey, even I get boarded sometimes.

Aha... Two Cities? I didn't finish ONE yet, so how the hell are you supposed to make two of them?

No sincerly: I'm working on expanding it quite a bit, if you look down the board a bit you'll see new pics of the next version- I'm expanding the map acording to the original plan, so it'll take a while, but I think it will grow over a mile to the hangar-bay. But since I really want every building to look like it serves some purpose this will be a lot of work.
Please be patient!

Sounds like it would be fun if you could keep the game from getting "chunky"...

OK, I think it looks a bit more dense now, next step I'll need to do is increase the skybox again, because all space is used by now. I'll send some pictures soon so that you can give your opinion on it.
BTW: Didn't thought that to be a insult, I understand you being ancious (Think how I am ). I'm thinking about a new beta later this week, so hopefully there's not much time until you all can go exploring again
