1st Person Orientation

I need to know how to put my weapon models in 1st person view. I dont know which md3s to make and what to call them, or how I get the skin to show up if I already have the .SKIN file and the skin itself. I got Han Solo's Blaster in the makings and need to know how to make it 1st person. I already know to use the parent tag as a guide and the center of the screen if ingame. I dont know what the max poly limit for 1st person is, an i get this error that says not enough alloc memory "TAG_WP_ER." Something like that. I also dont know what im supposed to name the tag_flash or the tag_parent, or tag_weapon?. Which one do I name the tag as? and is that the only tag i use? Please help!!
