Jedi v. Merc problem

I tried using the Jedi v. Merc feature, and I've gotten it to work. But I can't use the grappling hook. Is there a command I can use to bind it to a key. Because I've heard that the use key does the trick. But that won't work. Do I need to be pointing it at a ledge or will anything work?

You need to have a mod loading on the server that adds the grappling hook. Jedimod, Jediplus, and maybe one other have this feature.
