Question black skies in multiplayer

hey all... i recently discovered a graphics problem where the skies in my multiplayer maps (like bespin) are complete black!! i only noticed when i saw the game on my friend's computer and he had nice, peachy sunset skies

i've been looking all over for a fix to this... anyone know the solution?

i'm running on an ati radeon AIW 8500 dv + win98. i have the latest ati drivers and DirectX 8.1 installed. i have JK2 version 1.02 (but so does my friend with good skies).

I had the same problem with Black Skies in multiplayer. I fixed it by searching for all the jk2mp*.cfg files (I have multiple mods installed) and deleting them. When I restarted, I could see the skies properly.

Hope this helps someone.
