Go to www.politicalcompass.org and take the test on where you stand on the political social ladder. Post your results.
Mine was:
Economic Left/Right: -0.88
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -5.33
That means I'm in the middle of economic freedom but pretty liberal when it comes to personal freedom.
There's no earthly way of knowing which direction we are going. There's no knowing where we're rowing or which way the river's flowing. Is it raining? Is it snowing? Is a hurricane a-blowing? Not a speck of light is showing, so the danger must be growing. Are the fires of hell a-glowing? Is the grisly reaper mowing? Yes, the danger must be growing 'cause the rowers keep on rowing, and they're certainly not showing any signs that they are slowing. AAAGGHHH!!!

I don't remember the exact result, but I was almost smack dab in the middle of the graph. Does that mean I have a balanced outlook on life, or that I simply don't care about anything?

I wouldn't use the word "balanced" but basically, yeah, you have an outlook on life both pretty governmental as well as free will. You're far from being an anarchist but you aren't the dictater of teirany either. You most be a swing-voter.
Gosh, the other day was absolutely horrible for us democrats.
