Snowboard or ski?
Ive recently started snowboarding. I skiid for a few years and wanted to try something different. Im still trying to decide which one I like better. When I get good enough at boarding Ill make my choice.

Well, i split half and hlaf with Skiing and using the short skis. Both are very fun.
Never tried snowboarding.

I voted snowboarding, just because it looks cooler....
Sking is fun though to watch. Should have voted Skiing...
My way of getting down a mountain? Why bother strapping either of those one me? I'd end up on my side any ways.....

skiing cause it's alot like rollerblading, and it's fun, tho i've only skiied once...on my 10th or 11th bday...

Well, when you live in Florida it gets kinda hard to snowboard/ski. . .
but whenever I goto my grandma's house i try to go snowboarding. I've done it like 2 times now. I think it's fun. The 1st time wan't fun though. i spent most of my time on my "lower area of body"

I would have to go with skiing.
Its the only thing of the 2 that I've tried. I hope to get a chance to try out the snowboard some day.

Well, after some broken bones when I was younger from skiing.......I gave that up and never tried snowboarding. I have absolutely no desire to start up again.

well ive done both. but when i went snowboarding for the first time, i have an unlikely comcussion! it sucked so bad [this was about 5 years ago] and i pases out for a bout 8 hours, it hurt so much i felt like i was going blind before i passed out and stuff it was wierd....BUT ANYWAYS....id have to go with skiing, lol.

not enough snow for either but I love sledding and bivvy bagging (thats when you slide down a snowy hill on a very slippy plastic bag) but since I watch more skiing on TV I guess I'll go for that. Have any of you been watching the World Cup and World Champianships? they are so good.

I say none. (Especially since I haven't tried either ) I fact, the last time I remeber touching snow was when I was 7 and we went to Tahoe. (Which is up north on the boarder of CA and Nevada)

nah, skis are cool. I've had a snowboard for years now, but it still is like new, i used it only so much that i learned snowboarding, and a few tricks, after that i went back to skis. Don't ask me why, i don't know...

Well let's see I've been a skiier for 16 years. I was on rescue patrol and ski patrol for 3 seasons. For the past 5 years I've been a hardcore snowboarder. My best trick on a board is a rodeo stalefish.
It's like apples and oranges: which one's better? To tell you the truith, They're both great!
