Thanks for you imput guys. Next I have made the belt that hods his sword holster on his back. I have made only the pockets because the space in between can be don with a skin. Next I'm going to try to make his hat. Does anybody out there know how to make model parts hollow in gmax? Anyway here is a screen:

Could I ask what program you use to make your models? and the model looks awesome are you going to be able to widen the glove edges though they seem kinda tight.

Are you going to make him holding his sheild. It would be cool if there was a mod that let you use sheilds ingame.

Well right now I'm stuck, I'm having trouble modeling his hat. I could put the sheild on his back but I haven't learned how to make model parts hollow yet. If I could I could reduce the polycount and make alot more stuff.

The ears are a bit extreme in length and angle, but otherwise it's a good start.

My only other suggestion would be to actually model the body from scratch yourself - it would've made Legolas look better, and Link is even skinnier than Legolas, so the beefy Exar Kun model just isn't going to cut it this time, I think.

I would like to do that (model the body) but my polycount skyrockets because I don't know how to make things hollow and the polycount is HUGE! If someone could find out for me then I could do that.

i think the ears are a lil too long. I no elves have long ears but that might be a lil too long. besides that it looks awesome

Can't you find out yourself? There's a stuck thread with a ton of resources up top... one of those is bound to have a solution for you.

Stop asking other people so much for stuff and start doing it yourself - it's the only way you'll learn. (I hope this doesn't sound too harsh)

Well I am having troubles with Legolas so I worked a bit more on Link. I gave him a scronier (sp?) body all around so he isn't as beefy as before. I picked up a tutorial that I am using to try to make the hat so he still doesn't have one yet, I also added the Master Swors in his holster. And yes his ears are smaller now!

I like how the model has been progressing, the hat is also very nice. The only thing that I believe needs the most work is the face. Ya, it's one of the toughest regions to model, I know...
Use the gamecube ssb Adult Link to assist you in creating the face.
