My high score* is 643mph, but I cheated... I click the hand, pull it STRAIGHT down, untill its off the game, then move it behind the monkey and then pull it straight back up into the game.

using the full flash movie, placing the hand at lower right bottom, going out of the movie, going to left top and entering mouse there, gives me 847

Heh, thats good tactics. I just tried it, and after a few goes I got 847 every time, so I thought it must be the maximum.
Then I tried it with the start position at the top right, and came back in on the bottom left, which gave me a speed of 848!!
