Lexx the sci-fi (not the moderator)
I was searching the web,
mainly for the Brunnen Gee war song,
the theme for Lexx,
and I went looking for images;
(I am not or have never been)
a fan of Lexx I must confess.
I do not want to go on flaming or dis-ing
this show, but why are there
so many different actress's who play Zev?
the was a min series movie 4 part
and Zev was blonde.
then I have seem
a blondish long haired woman
and a short haired red topped girl,
how many Zev's are there?
is she Doctor Who's grand daughter
or something.
I mean Kai Scissorhands
bell hop Stanley
and looks like a stage prop
from a typical low budget BBC sci-fi
790 are all the same so why not Zev?
or is she a divine nympho shadow?
(anyhow this last bit sounded like flamming
and dis-ing, I digress sorry to offend Lexx fans.
post here explicitedly and make me a believer,
what is so special about Lexx.

Flame away eggy, the show LeXX was wretched. Add it to Farscape, Seaquest, Stargate SG-1, and all the other sorry shows that comprise late night Sci-Fi Channel. I personally don't see how Lexx could apeal to anyone who is not doing some major LSD.
The only thing that is special about LeXX, is that it does not have Richard Dean Anderson in it. So that puts it a step above SG-1 IMO.

I liked the first couple of episodes but then it went down hill rapidly. As far as I know, there are only two Zev's.
They copied my name anyway, bleh.
I have to disagree with you Groovy, I love Farscape and SG1.

Only Sci-Fi shows I like are Buffy, Angel, Voyager and Enterprise. Anything else just doesn't catch my interest

X-Files is the best one! There are some others that are good.....but nothing beats Mulder/Scully!

I never liked any Sci-Fi t.v. shows. Well, I kinda like Dinotopia, but I'm not sure if that even was Sci-Fi

Sci-Fi shows? My favorite is Angel. I also like Buffy and Smallville. I'm not really into any other still-running shows.
I saw one eppy of LeXX and it looked stoopid. But I loved the Zev character. (There's *two* of him? o.O) Then I think he died. But if there's two of him, that might explain it. If I'm thinking of the right character...pale, funny black hair?
edit: I'm a spaz. Guess it wasn't Zev. Too bad I can't remember his name

I think you're talking about Kai. Yeah, he's a cool character, being dead n all.
It's a shame really, because I remember watching the first intro film (first 3 episodes) and I really liked it. It certainly is strange and different, and I like the idea it started out with but then it just got crap. It could have been such a great show. It's a shame really.

The greatest movies to have ever been sponsered and showed on the Sci-Fi channel are:
Dune
Children of Dune

- Formally hated, praised, and known as Pnut_Man

I only ever watch Lexx (the show ) when its on in front of me. I find some of its humor amusing from time to time. But really, the only thing I like about it is the intro music. Kai is pretty cool, Zev's O.K but Stanly and that robot head really suck. Of all of the characters in the show, I think Prince is the best. But then I've always liked the bad guys...
Battlestar Gallactica would be my all time fav sci-fi series, followed closely by Space above and beyond.
War of the Worlds series? Groovy, I would have to agree with you in that the show totally STANK! And as much as I enjoy Stargate SG-1, the only thing good about it IMO was the original movie.
And should you see my form before you, know then that now will be your darkest hour...

I've watched a few shows of lexx, the first one was my favorite, and that dude w/the black hair and scratch on his face is cool.
My favorites are:
The Outer Limits
Stargate SG-1
The Lost World series
Hercules
Sliders
Smallville
I also like Space Above and Beyond, but always miss it when it's on...
Battle is a pure form of expression. It is heart and discipline, reduced to movement and motion. In battle, the words are swept away, giving way to actions-- mercy, sacrifice, anger, fear. These are pure moments of expression.

I guess my biggest problem with Lexx, is that I never know what the hell is going on. I have seen about 4 episodes from start to finish, and it is just totally nuts everytime. If I knew at least SOME back story, maybe I could watch with renewed interest. They should have some explanation at the start of each episode, like they did with X-Files.
I agree with leXX on The Dead Zone, that is turning out to be quite the show...
Anthony Micheal Hall.... who'd have thought? He's awsome on that show though....

bring back American Gothic " That's Buck, with a B "
Fear can sometimes be a useful emotion. For instance, let's say you're and astronaut on the moon and you fear that your partner has been turned into Dracula. The next time he goes out for the moon pieces, wham!, you just slam the door behind him and blast off. He might call you on the radio and say he's not Dracula, but you just say, "Think again, bat man."
Try this on for size.
