Ok fellas, listen up. We now have upwards of 60 members and not all of them are posting. What this means is that we the leaders have to find out who's for real and who's pretend. What does this mean to you? It means that if you do not post here saying that you want to remain a member (and post your user name) by March 4, you will be removed from the list. If you are out of town or something and missed this post, PM one of the leaders and we'll talk. For those of you who don't know, these leaders are myself, Wraith 8, Jan Gaarni, and Setsuko.

What's more, we are going to begin to be more selective with our recruits. For starters, prospectives must have been an active member of lucasforums for a month (prior to the games release. This recquirement will be lifted after it is out), recommended by a current member and interviewed by a leader (unless either A. you seem really cool from your posts in which case you will be let in or B. you are a dick from your posts in which case you will be rejected)

One more thing. It turns out that to be in a neutral PA you have to stay neutral. This means that you cannot be a rebel or imperial and be in the PA officially. You can, however, be a sympathizer to either faction and join sides in the civil war battlegrounds and remain neutral over all. We know that there are many of you who want to be in your factions, so we've decided that you can join another PA or a faction or both and still remain an unofficial member of the PA. While you won't be able to enter the private areas of the PA town buildings (not our fault, part of the programming in the game), you will be counted as a member of the PA. You get all the benefits of being a member, ie ability to live in our town, build in it, gain our support, etc., but you will have to pay for it. The leaders have not yet come to consensus on what this payment will be, but rest assured it is not going to be outlandishly ridiculous. Just a little something extra to help the PA out as it will be extra work on the leaders' part.

If you wonder, this applies not to this thread, but this thread. There was a bit of a reorganization of these two threads, nothing to worry about, I just thought the topics mentioned in Gaalgoth's post deserved a thread in itself, so we could discuss it here, not on the first thread. Oh my, too much confusion for me at these late hours!

Aaaanyway, this is about two problems: inactive members, and what we are to do with members who can't be in the PA proper since we are a neutral PA. I'd say I'll do my utmost to keep them in the =A= community, if they are unable to visit our PA hall. That means letting them settle in our town, feel at home here on our forums, join our activities and generally hang around with us. If you want to work with us, I'll do my best to let you do that. I know a lot of people will be let down if it actually turns out that in the retail version, rebels and imps can't be in a neutral PA. I'm still not 100% sure that this is the case, since I haven't read any firsthand info on it, just rumours. But if that is a fact, then I'm ready to look into making two separate branches, a rebel and an imp part of the =A=. This, of course, is if there is enough interest and player base. I'd rather see one strong PA than a weak triumvirate. Oh well, I guess we are left guessing for now.

I've Already have saved up for the game. I've waited for this game for almost 3 years now.

I'm glad they said Summer of 2003 and are staying with it. Whoa $10 fee isn't that much I thought it was going to be around $15.

Watch it, Xizor. That is called 'spamming'. If you really want to test something, then do it in a forum that hasn't been visited in a couple of months. Those exists. But our backyard is not the proper place to do so. Just a friendly advise.

If this means anything, though I am not a member, I have all ready preordered the game and bought a new *l33t* computer just for it's purpose.....and I've only been posting for and day and a half so you can be the judge of my active posting
