The Ring

I just saw this. This movie freaked me out.
Somebody hold my hand...

Hey!!! No guys!!!

This was a good movie. I might rent the original (Ringu).

They did a good job of editing when it came to showing the dead folks.
Erie.

It wasn't my cup of tea.

Who thought the horse scene was funny as hell? Please, tell me someone else did.

I laughed throughout the entire movie, and my sister thinks I'm criminally insane.

I thought the horse scene was stupid. Like talking to him was going to help. Why wouldn't you run away from that?

it was overhyped and i expected to be scared to paranoia, but no, not at 3 am in the morning....=/ i hate when they advertise people being SCARED that just makes you want to LAUGH at it....=/ i did take notice however, that i answer phones less.

Battle is a pure form of expression. It is heart and discipline, reduced to movement and motion. In battle, the words are swept away, giving way to actions-- mercy, sacrifice, anger, fear. These are pure moments of expression.

I was lucky in that I didn't pay any attention at all to the commercials for it and no one that saw it said anything about it.

So I missed the hype.

Hype sucks.
Hype makes things that are great, average.

I've only seen Ringu, and I thought it sucked donkey balls. But then again, everyone has been talking about how scary it was...

I thought the start and build-up of the Japanese version was well made, and kinda freaky. With the video and phone calls and all that. But after that it seemed to really lose its thunder. Sadaku wasn't scary at all, neither was the TV scene. It had a lot of potential, I just though it was wasted on a bad ending.

There's a bunch more movies about The Ring though, so maybe they're better.

The ending was anticlimatic. If the credits hadn't run I woudn't have known it was over.

If you ever see Ringu, would you tell me if it's worth seeing the american remake? Even if I didn't like Ringu, I might like the remake better.
