I get music and sfx just great! However, when Sam, Max or any other character speaks in-game it just comes up in captions. I disabled the captions but now their mouths just move and I don't know what they are saying!
In the intro cutscene I can hear Sam and Max talking but as soon as the game starts it quits. Does anybody know how to activate in game speech? I can't find the control anywhere! If it's a sound problem...have any advice?
If you do own this game, I have a similar problem with Day of the Tentacle on older computers. Just check the IRQ, the DMA, and all other three letter configurations to match up with your sound card.
If that does not work, try the game in a state of higher memory, such as true DOS. If you have any Windows system after 98, I can't help you.
