The Associates Chat Room!

Yes yes, we have our own chat room now

in this thread i will explain to you how to get there.

Step 1:
If you dont have mIRC yet. Go download it from this page:
http://www.mirc.com/get.html
When you click the download link, click 'open' on the popup screen.
That will install mIRC once its downloaded.

If everything has gone the way it should. you have a new icon on your desktop or in your programs menu.

If you already have mIRC, go to step 2.

Step 2:
Star mIRC and you will come into a screen.
[See Attachment]

Before you got that screen (for the one who just installed it) it brings up a screen with introduction. Just close that screen and you will get the screen that looks like the attachment.

Fill out the following stuff on that screen:
Full Name: (fill in your name)
Email adres: (fill in your REAL e-mail adres)
Nickname: (fill in your nickname for the chatroom)
Allternative: (fill in a nickname just in case the other is in use)

So click on the 'Add' button and go to step number 3.
For those who who are already familiar with IRC also go to step 3.
Also for those who already have multiple channels or one other. be sure to mark the: 'New server Window'.

Step 3:
When you clicked the 'Add' button there will appear a small screen.

Now here is the info for that screen:
Description: Associates
IRC server: irc.zerofuzion.net

Dont worry about 'Group', 'Password' and 'Port(s)'.
If you have done all that. click 'Add' You will get back into the screen of Step 2. then you just click 'Ok'.

Then head on to step 4.

Step 4:
Once you have done all that. click the little lighting flash thingy just below the menu 'File'.
You should connect to the server and there will appear a screen.

In the bar with the blinking cursor, type:
#Associates

And you will go inside the chat room.
Welcome to our chat room and i hope you have fun

Well for you lazy people, im working on a java window version. Which is quick and fast.

I'm on mostly around 7:00-8:00 pm pacific.
other wise I'm on most of the time but that's when you'll see me.

what channel the mIRC? I can't use gamesnet or zerfusion either so I would personaly wish to keep useing mIRC but it has proven to go wack with some people...

The reason I stopped using this back in the day was because I started playing the game

(I still remember the day...). I'd like to start using this again though.

It is still alive, and I'm in there right now. If I'm awake and on the computer, I'll be in there probably. Please somebody join me.
