Well I umm a.... I kind of deleted my old topic after a huge april fools joke(which I figured since the forum was closing there was no use for my WIP) and so here is a new thread of mine.


Shadow's Saber Pack Expansion Pack

I think everyone here will be talking about this prank for years to come. ANYWAYS, yeah I like that saber the most so far too. It came out really nice in the end.

Alright time for a little update. Right now I will be working on the saber model and then I will finish the last blade. Thanks to T7 I think I won't have much problems with the model of it. I will post screens of it as soon as I can.

Okay I haven't said much in this in a while so here it goes. I was having major problems with the saber model, much more than I thought I would have. But thanks to T7nowhere I don't think anymore problems with it so the saber should be done soon. After that I will work on the last blade color and other not so fun parts (icons, uti files, etc). So this will *hopefully* be done at the least by next week

It seems a lot of people like my yellow core and purple glow saber. I guess that was a good choice on the color combination that I made.

Anyways I am ironing out a few kinks that I noticed on a saber color. I was just looking at it in game and I noticed at a certain angle part of the glow stuck out more than the rest.

I know I should be working on the saber model instead but this just kept irritating me more and more I thought about it. From the screenies above you can't really tell since it isn't at that angle. Well back to work.

Well I suppose I could show you what the saber model will (hopefully) look like in the end

The spikes are what I was having trouble with and that is what T7 helped me on (through a number of pms).

Well I have been off doing projects for school and have not gotten too much time to work on this and now unfortuantely when I finally get done with all of them I think I am getting sick... wonderful

I'll continue my mod when I feel better or when I feel more up to it.

Well I was indeed sick all last week with a bit of the flu... what fun that was. I am feeling better now and plan on getting back to work. I am currently thinking of whether or not to do scripting to put these in game because I think I have used that deadmerc_cont.utp enough lol. So I may be getting a "crash course" in scripting. Gives me a headache just thinking about it

Well I am going to go work on finishing the skin for the last blade. Then finish the model finally and uvmap it... Hopefully it won't be as much of a horror as my Odyssey saber was to uvmap ugh.

Yup an update already and here is a SCREENIE! I'm not too sure on the color though, anyone have any suggestions to make it look better or maybe a better color?

I think it would look much better with a "whiter" version of that color. Sorta like a light hue over the light but still the solid color. It looks good as is though

Hmmmmm....
After seeing the two last pics I have to say I think the one from the new updates the first one, is better then the second if you ask me.
But keep in mind that you must do what you like cuz it is YOUR mod after all
