New JK2 in game footage *spoilers*
Hi, on the german computer/video game show GiGa they're just playing a "review" copy of JK2. It's not the final version that we will be able to buy next week.
Right now I have recorded a glimpse of the intro along with some playtime of the 1st lvl and some footage from a later mission. The hosts of the show didn't have very much time to play it (~3 hrs.) , so the guy from activision provided some cheat codes and save games.
It was mentioned, that the german version will not be cut in any way. Cut of limbs should be possible to see, but very seldom. In the german version all original voices from the movies (Mon Mothma, Luke,...) will be used.
The short film that I've uploaded to my tiny webspace shows Luke and Kyle fighting together. Pls remember that the player does not know much of the moves and how to play.
I could provide some more and if somebody has some webspace to spare, pls drop me a line.
The videos are encoded with DivX 5.0, if you don't have the codec installed head over to www.divx.com and download it.

5 clips
clip 1 - part of the intro / part of lvl 1 (~17.5mb)
clip 2 - the one with luke (~7,8mb)
clip 3 - come views of the Jedi academy and the mission with the AT-ST from the trailer (~20.5mb)
clip 4 - some multiplayer fun on a deathstar map (trying some wallruns, etc.) (~16mb)
clip 5 - more multiplayer in the huge open map we know shots of
I will upload them to my webspace one at a time, and will delete the earlier one, since I only have 50mb space.
I will take down the part 2 in 30 min.

Holy cr@p, heh, that is some awsome footage, you finally see more fluid movement and get a feal for how the models look and feal. This is better than the trailor to an extent since they dont flip around so much trying to show more things in one small clip. This proves that you can loose your saber in multiplayer, it got stuck behind Luke at one point and Kyle had to go pick it up off the ground. When are you going to link the others?

Downloaded it and watched it. Nothing exciting but like Valdarious said lots of movement shown, real gameplay shown for a change not just flashs, maybe we will be able to see a real duel!

Did you guys see the quick glimpse of lightsaber in first person just before Kyle dies (first mission failed)
You can actualyl see the saber handle in bottom of screen for a sec, but then he dies almost immediately and we see the slowmo
so confirmed that slowmo is also when you get killed, not just your enemy

The acrobatics are so sweet in this game, it looks like Luke is almost doing a cartwheel flip at the beginning. Not sure how they progress force powers as far as the secrets are conserned. Pretty much all SP FPS's have secrets of some kind it seems, would be a nice touch to see if they kept the secret areas like they did in JK1. Heh, did you notice that the 2 germans are wearing mock Jedi robes?
